You could try having a look at www.pilotinterviews.com

They seem to have a pretty good listing of Canadian Carriers, as well as others, and provide their contact details and their current requirements and qualifications.

However, be prepared to take a step back or two. I think it was Georgian Airways or a similar outfit who required a minimum of 1000hrs on the 208 to get a job flying it. Also as Panama Jack says, a lot also depends as to how much float time you have. As a general rule, it seems 250hrs is the minimum these days and who knows now as the Insurance companies are releasing their new premiums shortly which will undoubtly up the mins. Further, as was stated in an earlier thread, although 1000hrs + on the 208 seems high, they can get it in Canada. One place I'd check out however, is possibly Provincial Airlines in Labrador.

Keep in mind, a 1 year work permit won't do you much good, especially since there are plenty of Canadian travelling the country East to West looking for any job they can get and that's including dock hangs, etc. If you are serious about going to Canada, you should check out an immigration website b/c I'd be surprised anyone would take you with a 1 year work permit.

Good Luck
