The "girlies" should indeed be able to cope with violent pax better than the lads from up front. It's the FA's who are supposed to have the people skills and the training for this sort of thing
not the pilots!
And regarding the "brawn over brain" issue; never been in a situation yet where there wasn't a number of burly male pax more than willing to come to our asistance. One of those instances where I think: "Thank God for testoterone!!"
If our training in fighting unruly pax would be as thorough as the pilot's training in fighting
their emergencies, the problem would rapidly disapear.
