The mighty 747 is on its way to the great hangar in the sky
Concorde has been permanently GROUNDED. The 747 is probably nearing the end of it's production run after 35 years and counting, to be replaced by whatever economics dictate is the next logical step.
747s will, however, be flying for decades yet.
This author doesn't seem to grasp the difference.
