US$85000 is not peanuts its just you are used to being very highly paid,some of the new operators work on a tight budget and cant afford to pay what the majors do,saying that most of the majors cant afford to pay what they do now either.

I agree its not that much when your used to seeing pilots well paid,however why should a pilot get loads more dosh to fly a big plane rather than a small one? it doesnt read across to any other parts of industry,certainly engineers dont get paid extra for the responsibility of system and critical airworthiness control on big ships to small ones,why should a pilot be different?
