Another economy measure used at Swanwick is at the annual watch meeting.....we have to attend work two hours early for some incomprehensible pep-talk about yet again having to work super-hard to cover staff shortfall. Catering is provided in the form of unidentifiable slimy globs of assorted mush....at each meeting more is left untouched [once bitten//twice shy] therefore food bill gradually diminishes......this shows up as an economy on the budget sheet and bonus-time has arrived.
