William III had the right idea, Keef. He sent troops to Oxford because they were so disputatious (still are). He sent Cambridge some books. He reckoned they could do with some. There's a little rhyme about this, but I have forgotten it.
Tall Guy, it's a matter for you, but it might be interesting for Duxford to receive a letter saying "[X] of us were going to fly in and pay for landings, food, etc, but in view of your stance over the D-Day fracas, we are going to Old Warden [or wherever], instead."
