Betty - think 'tis you that needs a hug. This time (only once, mind) I concur with ABIW. Even as one who spends most C130 time loading/unloading or sleeping, I can see that extra eyes aren't going to help much/at all in this situation. ABIW was pretty light-hearted in his response. Anyhoo.......

from the Sun

A HERO RAF pilot saved the lives of 20 British soldiers when he landed his plane safely after a mid-air collision with a fighter jet.

The giant Hercules transporter was clipped by a MiG at 20,000 feet over Turkmenistan.

The Russian-built jet tore six inches off the ends of two of the plane’s propeller blades.

But the pilot — flying British troops home from duty in Afghanistan — managed to land on three of his four engines in Baku, Azerbaijan.

The Hercules C130J is based in RAF Lyneham, Wilts. An inquiry into the near-disaster has been launched.

I want one of those "giant Hercules transporter " aircraft.
