A good saturday, even it was a tad chilly all day.
Driving onto the airfield at 9:15, it was amusing to see the number of cars coming out of the site. For the last 3 weeks, it has been well signposted that there will be no market this weekend, but that didn't stop some people from coming anyway.
The spotters were impressive by their numbers and by their movements. At 9:30, there were swarming over the static park, but by 11:30, they had all migrated to the flight line to tick off the arrivals.
We had a brand new unregistered aircraft on the stand - the standard spotter question was "whats the reg of this aircraft?" Excuse me ! its not registered thats why theres no letters on it. now.

so there are one or two spotters with G-KOL, G-EADS & G-PRUN in their notebooks. Interesting how they wrote down the reg & constructors number, but not the aircraft type.
Thanks to vintageATCO for letting us come up into the inner sanctum - I've always wondered what the view from the tower is like.
Good to meet TonyR and crew, WideBody, FNG (at last), Rallye Driver. Mikecross, Blue Robin, Modern Dinosaur and the two hot chicks - eveepee & Aerbabe.
We had quite a few Rally pilots come onto the PZL stand and sit in a Koliber, all of then enthused about the old 'Tin Parachute' so they must OK..
