You only get this kind of quality entertainment from the US. Talking of which, [genuine trans-atlantic ignorance], do the US TRACON ATCOs really say "welcome to my airspace?"
One or two things spring to mind after seeing it.
(1) Would a 747 really throw you if you stood that close to the threshold?
(2) Would Heathrow ever devote 3 minutes for the controller to sing a song to his ex-wife over the R/T. (b) would she be licenced to use the RT? teeheehee
Picture the scene;
"All aircraft stop transmitting; Attempting to save my marriage. *controller bursts into a hit from ol' blue eyes as his colleagues in LATCC look on in horror." hahahahaha
(3) When sitting on "the scopes" do you ever look over your shoulder to find that the entire operations room have left their screens to come and stand behind you and take bets on your performance... *sigh*.
(4) "Hi, Im new, this is my first day here. I dont appear to have validated for this airspace, but I'll give it a shot."
"oh hi!, this is a radar screen - enjoy!"
"Great, I've got the picture. See ya!"
"bye!" Unit validated controller leaves room.

Seperately, as I was sitting watching mesmerised, I came up with a great game.
(*) Drink 1/2 pint for each incident that would involve a MOR.
(*) Down 1 shot for each ATC Stereotype.
(*) Dont play this game on a break at work.
