Thank you for your well wishes. You're right, Air Canada and BA do have somewhat similar histories. We do have certain labour groups who are VASTLY overpaid, but that is changing now, and with the Engineer's drive to set up our own union, things will continue to improve. (I'm an optimist!)
We just heard on the news that the CAW has caved in and signed a tentative agreement regarding cost-cutting. Much relief here, as it really was right down to the wire. Now we must have ratification votes.
