EUjet expects 500,000 passengers through expanded Kent serviceÊ
Shannon-based airline Eujet has released details of its business and leisure routes from its UK hub at Kent International Airport.
This follows yesterday's announcement of a new Shannon-Dublin-Kent route, by the low-fares airline.
From September, Eujet will fly from Kent to Manchester, Edinburgh, Dublin and Amsterdam and on secondary business routes to Glasgow, Madrid, Copenhagen and Milan.
Leisure destinations will include Genona, Nice, Prague, Palma, Malaga, Jersey, Murcia and Faro.
Routes to ski destinations will to be added in December and include Geneva, Zurich, Salzburg, Turin and Toulouse.
Eujet also announced that Ron Haylock will be joining the Board as non-executive chairman.
Haylock serves on the boards of a number of travel businesses and is also an investor in the company.
The company hopes to carry 500,000 passengers in its first year of operations at Kent International.
Chief Executive Officer P.J. McGoldrick said today: "This is a very exciting development for Eujet. The launch of our new low-cost service will give consumers access to a range of business and leisure destinations at low and very competitively priced fares.
"It will create greater access to the Kent region and should be good for business and the local economy," McGoldrick added.
