New Type of Pop-Up?
Initially posted in the adware sticky above but it has been suggested that I start a new thread about it so here goes:
Is there a new kind of pop-up out there? I've been supressing pop-ups very effectively with Pop-Up Stopper for some time but recently I have begun to suffer from them again. The thing is, they don't appear to be specific to any web page but just tend to apppear whenever I change the page that I'm viewing. Pop-Up Stopper manages to deal with them sometimes but not all. The pop-up control on the Google search bar can't deal with them at all.
I get the impression that they are generated by some sneaky browser plug-in but Spybot and Adaware do not eliminate it. These are not Messenger pop-ups by the way.
Any clues?
