New Irish Budget Airline

Just spotted this on an internet news site and after the recent closures of other LCC's one can only hope that these guys fare a little better!!!

New budget airline to get off groundĘ

A new low fares scheduled service to Dublin from Shannon Airport will be launched in September.
EUJet will initially operate three return flights per day between Dublin and Shannon and weekend scheduled services from Shannon to Faro, Malaga, Murcia (the low cost airport near Alicante) and to Geneva during the ski season.
The low fares airline will also operate daily services from Shannon to Kent via Dublin and will confirm its UK hub services from Kent International Airport later this week.
EUJet CEO, PJ McGoldrick, said today: "The launch of our new service from Shannon will give consumers in the region access to a range of business and leisure destinations at low and very competitively-priced fares.
"The existing schedule on the Dublin-Shannon route has meant that it has been impossible for people to fly to Dublin, or from Dublin to Shannon, spend a productive day there, and return again by air the same day.
"The launch of the new service should be good for business and good for the local economy in this region. It will also create great access to the Mid/South West region," McGoldrick added.

EUJet was established in May 2003 and currently employs over 130 people. This figure may rise to 240 by the end of 2004.
The company has been approved by the Irish Aviation Authority and licensed by the Commission for Aviation in Ireland.
