Bananasetc....I think when we cope with a life threatening emergency (perhaps once in a career, twice if you're blessed
) we are only saving one life...our own, the rest being a nice bonus as if we arrive in one piece there's a better than even chance the pax do too.
That's how I look at it anyway.
