Good point about lack of response to "expedite" instructions. We're getting that quite a bit these days at LACC Swanwick, and particularly from the flying computers [Airbuses]. Notable exception being the ever-helpful Aer Lingus, definitely the most ATC-aware outfit in my sky....and I never have trouble with Ryanair either....they can really fly their 73's.....some of my other customers seem to need to get the handbook out every time we ask for something out of the ordinary. It's got to the stage where the only way to get the point across is to specify a level and a point by which to achieve it just for the computer. Yuk! And Yes...bring back the FAM flights!
