I'm having a similar experience.
But it's curious. On my Windows XP PC, I haven't been prompted for a logon for ages, whereas on my 98 PC, 1 of three identities is constantly having to login - 12 hours, not 24! - and guess which identity causes me grief? Not the kids, mine
I have deleted all pprune cookies for the offending account and still have the problem mentioned on another thread, which I did a search for (keyword = cookies).
