Also to anybody who may know the answer. Doing prep with the multitudes of books available. But there are a few inconsistencies with numbers. Do any of you think the exact numbers are what they are after or are they merely wanting to see that you have made an effort and can at least learn.

Here are a few examples of what I have uncovered.

Study document states MTOW of the 747-400 at 394,625Kg
Boeing Website has it at 396,000Kg

Adding up the Cathay website fleet numbers the sum is 82.
I have seen an up to date document stating 84 (and counting). But which fleet numbers are wrong?

I have seen numerous differing documents stating the engine variants. But they dont seem to back each other up.

Those are but a few. Should I be worried about the series of RB211's in use along with their thrust rating or should I just get out more (personally I would rather get out more as the inconsistancies are doing my head in).

Cheers to all about to undertake the process.
