A Surrey pensioner has vowed never to return to the United States after witnessing first hand the security measures in place at airports. John Jackson of South Park, told local reporters that the authorities 'didn't
have a clue' after his return flight from Dallas in October was delayed by two hours because of an anthrax hoax.
'I think America still needs to tighten up its security arrangements. I think the British should be advising them as to what we do here, because we've lived with terrorism for many years,' Mr. Jackson told
Surrey Online. Mr. Jackson went on to say that while he was in America, he missed an internal flight and was shocked that his bags remained on board. In the UK, if a passenger misses a flight or is taken ill before the aircraft leaves the ground, their bags have to be removed as a security precaution.
'They haven't got a clue,' Mr. Jackson added.
