The tri gear MCR01 VLA, Club and ULM are all approved. You could operate an MCR04 on a French reg, in UK airspace, for about 30 days a year. The CAA can extend this under special circumstances.
My idea of perfect European harmony would be to allow all current rules to stand but to allow any approved aircraft to operate in any European market. We would have 3 times the choice at substantially reduced cost!
