Well cargoflyer, I had the mispleasure of flying from LAX to LHR on one of BA's and Boeing's finest once(744). What a nasty experience, I had to stand the ENTIRE way, as I could barely lever myself into the seats
How comfortable the seats are depends largely on the operator, and the config that they choose.
For my money though give me the 'bus ANY day of the week, especially shorthaul
