There's no diff. in the ticket price really ...
For example from Dublin it can be cheaper to hop to DUB-LHR-JFK and catch a BA 744, or sometimes it's cheaper A330 EI DUB->JFK
I haven't seen ticket prices carry a 4-engine supplement.
