Nobody here is suggesting or even hinting at being dishonest, and withholding any requested information.I have already explained that
Yes, it will show up on a CRB disclosure if its not spent.
A basic disclosure required for airside passes in the UK requests info on UNSPENT CONVICTIONS ONLY.
Being asked on a form have you got any unspent convictions, and having none, answer NO, where is the dishonesty there?
The employer is not seeking the information, that yes i had a drink driving conviction years ago.The employer cannot ask about spent convictions, that would be a flagrant breach of the law in relation to the REHABILITATION OF OFFENDERS ACT.
Nobody here has suggested that the original poster should be dishonest and withhold anything. If its spent THATS IT-ITS SPENT.
Good luck to you.
So to clear this little matter up
if its spent, and the form says have you got any
The crystal clear honest answer is NO.
