What Huey???? Elvis' Huey? Since March of 2003 "Lil Elvis" has been telling the aviation world in FACT that his father has bought a Huey. I've heard all kinda stories like; "its on the water, will be docking in FACT in 3 weeks, engineers are going for training, SACAA has inspected the machine in the USA and authorized its shipping etc, etc". All bullsh1t!
Elvis has been dreaming of a Huey ever since the "infamous Huey" started flying out of the V&A. Unfortunately, he has not been able to put his money where his mouth is, with the result that the Cape Town Elvis clan at this stage can only dream about a Huey.
(Saw the engineers fitting an engine to Huey#2 last week. Almost ready to fly. Mmmm, 2 Hueys in CPT, Cewl!!!)
Saw the clan at an airplane auction at CPT International a few weeks ago and must say that "the man" looked more like a tramp than a celebrity. The "real Elvis " must be turning in his grave knowing that there's a guy in CPT pretending to be "HIM". Wow!!
