Maybe a really nasty virus, and all but a few are easy to fix. Tech guys reading from cue cards..
Please download 'Hijack This!' from
here, unzip, and place it in it’s own folder, (not in the temp folder) doubleclick HijackThis.exe, and hit "Scan". When the scan is finished, click "Save Log", and copy and paste it in a PM to me.
This will give me a rundown of what’s going on in your PC.
Don’t fix anything yourself yet, as a lot of the stuff on that list will be harmless or required.
I'll let you know what to do next. HJT will fit on a 3.5 floppy, so it's easy enough to move between machines, and the scan generated is just a small notepad file.
