The Trident sim at Biggin is great fun. The graphics are a bit 1970s (unsurprisingly) but the all round experience is excellent.
It’s a bit of a handful to fly – the controls are quite heavy, and you
must retrim for the slightest power / airspeed / configuration change. And none of your girly electric trim switches, you have to turn that great big wheel yourself. As long as you’ve got 3 hands it’s a doddle.
I’d imagine a couple of hours spent in there would be very useful indeed.
