I've not even read the previous 29 pages but just want to address the people I met in the hotel in Jeddah during the Hajj.
I am sorry that your misgivings were so accurate. I was told that the Hajj aircraft had a 100% record, so it obviously could be done.
The crews were most unimpressed with the airline management and as history proved it was well-founded.
Good luck all of you and it was a real pleasure to talk to so many Brits I'd known in previous lives.
