Brenoch..as you may well know, there are pitfalls to any career move.. without knowing your present status it's a difficult question you pose, but unlike the "shining star" up the coast from here GF do NOT require you to resign seniority, the airline is rebuilding in a serious fashion, the staff you will deal with are all friendly and as helpful as possible, the 767's are as well maintained as ones at major US airlines..according to several major airline pilots from the US on furlough we have here, and these fellows are quite content and happy to be here for whatever duration that fate allows them...I for one am enjoying the opportunity to work here, and anybody with any modicum of positive thinking ability will surely enjoy their "tour of duty" here whether it be permanent, or temporary..the ability to purchase your home/flat and recoup your money if you decide to leave is a definate plus that most expat overseas contract opportunities do not offer, and for capt's the housing allowance covers at minimum 75% of any mortgage payment within reason...
