as I understand it the extension to the departure lounge is awaiting NWLDC planning approval, which is why the old portacabins have been removed but nothing put in place- maybe the airport will temporarily extend upwards if they do not get the go ahead?-but a new terminal is on the cards, most likely to the west of existing structure, ie facing stands 16-19, I believe the intention being to utilise as much of the 'newer' building as posible
