What about Glasgow Flying Club?
nice little private members club with lots of experience both private and insrtuctor (one of the instructors is a BA captain)
Can do everything for you +you get to mix it with the big boys in the circuit.
There is a lot of private flying from here and they are very tolerant to less experienced as they have a RAF UAS Sqn here also!! (
RAF cadets!)
