Well very sorry to hear you did not get through, like you say, it is there loss....
I work for EJ as cabin crew and have done now for over a year. I do enjoy it, it is hard work and very knackering. The people make the job for me, mainly crew and SOME flight deck, i use the word some because i operated a flight the other day, where the crew were all males, makes a change and the flight deck were two males as well.
The FD were very narky with us for the whole day, i asked my other crew colleagues what is up with them? the repky was , there are no women on board who will flirt with them and vice versa, well i am shocked, so us crew get a hard time, we did our job to a very high standard and please all our passengers to a level BA would accept. We also had excellent takings on the bars we did for the whole 4 sectors, this was a 12 hour day, so pretty long and to be ignored from FD who acted like spolit little brats for the whole day.
Not all FD are like this, most are really nice and very warm people, but when you have FD like this, it is a nitemare.
Easyjet is a good company to work for, there pay is good, staff travel is another issue, but hopefully some time this year this will be sorted out. Nice ish Uniform, nice crew.
Teachin when i was interviewed , the people who did this was about 20 yrs old, i don't think they had started puberty to be honest. Please , Please try again, we all have knock backs and reapply again and show them, you will get there. If not whatever you choose i do wish you all the best for the future
