To get back to the original thread, the reason people keep leaving EZY is the fact that you can't keep the pace it up in the long term.
Sure, charter airlines have a though flying schedule as well in the summer but the winter is usually a lot more relaxed and therefore long term fatique is avoided.
I have not met any pilot, or cabin crew for that matter, who sees him or herself flying for EZY untill their retirement on a 6/3 roster.
The posts of guys who don't think the EZY lifestyle is not so bad, are most likely relative new hires. During my first 2 years with the company, I did not think it was so bad either. However, cumulative fatique has slowly crept up on me and I think that is the case for most crews after 3 or more years with EZY.
One base captain has been over heard saying how much he liked being in the office instead of flying 6 days in a row because....IT MADE HIM SO TIRED!!!!
