I didn't want to sound like I was striving for absolute perfection, it's probably my fault for being unclear. I am fully aware that the world is a different place nowadays than "the glory days", but as I was still at school then, I can hardly be said to be bitter about them - I never knew them!
As a veteran of 10 airlines I'm sure you have seen it all and decided to try to see the good and just put up with it, or maybe you have just developed rhino skin through years of systematic abuse and don't give a toss anymore cos nothing ever changes. Or maybe your just a thoroughly laid back person who is happy with their lot in life. Or maybe you're on a part-time contract cos you've made enough money and brought a good pension with you from those other 10 airlines (I'm not trying to judge you, just fishin!

)
Your friends are "in the same boat" in charter or longhaul. Well my friends are leaving EZY to go into those areas. Generation gap, perhaps? Or just a difference in perception? Or genuinely angry and fed-up with overwork which no-one is prepared to listen to them about?
easyjet is still a young, growing company with a good foothold in its market sector. There is plenty of time to change, plenty of opportunity to adapt, and still plenty of profit margin to act. All I'm asking is why taking a step forwards for the benefit of the crew (the majority of the workforce) should have to be such a massive issue for the CEO and Chief Pilot.
Your happy, good for you. I wish I had your fortitude. But don't begrudge the rest of us who are not, but are determined to stick it out, and try and make EZY a better place to work.
