easy is my 10th airline 2 of which have been national carriers and I'm afraid I've heard the statement, "this company could be a career airline onday " in everyone of them. Sadly it will never be the utopia we dream of!
easy is not a lot differant on the whole I'm no more tired now than before, and don't miss the zombie mode(jetlag days) days one bit! Sure the summer schedule is very tiring but that no differant else where I can assure you many of my friends flying charter are in the same boat.
I'm afraid a lot of the young guns these days have missed out on the glory days of aviation, when pilots were highly thought of proffesionals and pay and conditions reflected that, and seem to be rather bitter about it!
Uneasy
You really need to move on and see if the grass is greener on the other side, sadly though I know you will be dissappointed. The first thing you'll notice is that the colour on the tail has changed and thats all! You also asked what type of pilot I am well I'll answer, a proffesional pilot one that has heard all the rantings of fools such as you on too many occasions and like many other proffessional pilot we are begining to get fed up with your kind. Please go work in a bank or something and leave flying to the real men and women with guts!
and before any ex Go people start to tell us how great GO was i'm affraid it was also a case of same !!!! differant day but because it was a small company staff had a sence of purpose, and boy have I fallen for that old chessnut a few too many times in my career.
Finally though if you want a job thats not boring and enjoy the company off some great characters, if you enjoy a job thats as much fun as its hard work then easy is just like most other airlines a reasonablly good place to be!
