For the record:
The European "group" was set up in 1989 (when it purchased some ex-Australian Air Force 1-11's).
However, European Aviation Air Charter [EAAC], was formed in 1993 to operate the ex-BA 1-11's it has previously been looking after onbehalf of BA.
Other aircraft seen in full EAL/EAF colours, but never entered service are a Boeing 727 (on the Czech register), two Airbus A300 and even an ex-RAF fighter, the type of which eludes me right now (but I know someone will tell me
)
