Cx 6,
Quarefellah got it right; can you jump in the sea next time I go fishing?
DTDP has used his argument about personal welfare to defend the management of EK before. Personally, I agree with him that the medical guys have been stout beyond reproach. Not sure what that has to with the way in which the package has eroded or the way in which the management have been communicating with the pilots during recent meetings.
You are making the wild assumption that Rapper works for EK. Just the other day he was offering advice to an MAS pilot about a move to Qatar. Maybe its only 0.01%. Mind you, DTDP was sniffing out Etihad's package and terms of service just too so it might be down to zero soon.
In my 0.01 % opinion, DTDP is correct that some of the invective that has gone on over the last few weeks has been way over the top. But the facts speak for themselves, the package has degraded relative to inflation by 50% in 10years and one manager at least has been surprisingly dictatorial and reticent to discuss the issues. One would hope that it would be possible to raise concerns at different levels but the message put out seems to be join (or don't join) or leave with nothing in between. Makes for short meetings at least.
By the way DTDP, have you proof about Elvis' whereabouts; I always wanted to meet him!
