It is bad enough that people take a flying job for free without actually paying an operator to hire you.
The $10k would be better used to support yourself through the legitimate routes to a job, rather than bribing someone to take you on.

There are better ways to find work, as Mogg said, its mainly about hard work. You will get a very bad name in a small industry with stunts like this.
