I smell the scent of freshly hung bait but never mind. I find your references to Emirates' 'problem children' insulting and demeaning. I agree that Emirates have been good at caring for individuals who encounter PERSONAL health and emotional problems but this I put down to one individual's influence - Maurice Flanagan. It is NOT a corporate culture and this is reflected in the way 'rank and file' pilots are treated by our esteemed leaders at an 'open forum' meeting.
Perhaps our Ozzie colleagues do whine a lot but re-read the submissions on the thread and realise there are a lot of coherent and well argued points of view there.
There are many unhappy campers here who can see their loyalty to this company being frittered away by 'new arrivals' with 'innovative' man-management ideas and not a notion of how to keep people (the company NEEDS to be) onside.
