Anyone else notice a slight disparity of prices towards the end of the "helicopter display models"?
The wood models shown in the website of Helicopters only are not all made of wood and all of the models shown whether made of wood or die cast are all display models. In the wood models listing you will see an alpha numeric code ending either in a W or an R. W=Wood and R=Resin.
The reason for the price disparity is the amount of man-hours that go into the construction and decorating of the model. The Wood models are mostly hand made and along with the resin models which are cast are all decorated by hand.
The die cast models are made in large number where the wood and/or resin models are made in small numbers.
