The tailboom carries what seems to be a double set of wheels. They are higher than the tail rotor, so if they cannot reach the ground, what is their purpose? Any body an idea?
The link to Wiki in Noyade's post 5948 clearly shows the wheels attached to lugs on the skids which are visible in the pic in that post.
What intrigues me far more is the small weights(?) hanging from the servo-paddles or whatever they're called in the same Wiki pic. Never seen that before. Anyone able to explain?
