This is UK CAA. Likely it will be word for word identical to EASA.

Point (f) should cover it.
So basically the test report itself won't be a dealbreaker?
Also, it doesn't seem to define "full recovery of their visual function and subject to satisfactory ophthalmological evaluation", unless, and I might be wrong, they mean an exam by ophthalmological that meet the regular Class 1 criteria? (assuming it's being 17 years now post surgery)
