I'm curious to see how this unfolds. Ireland has the EU Presidency at the moment and a strike by Pilots or Cabin Crew at Aer Lingus could seriously embarrass the government. Bertie won't like the idea of the various EuroCrats wishing to attend functions in Dublin being left standing on the tarmac.
I hear he has already told Willy (through Seamus) to put a lid on it.
The Presidency ends in June I think... so be prepared for a long drawn out period of waffling...followed by swift kick in the balls in July.
