still very little thrust

historic ion engines have very little thrust, so often operate for weeks continuously to get something useful done.

This one is bigger, so, wait for it. About 5 or 6 Newtons, or for the colonials among us about 1.2 pounds force.

Way bigger than before. Still not much. Still need to run for a very long time to get something done.
