Ah, I see where the confusion is arising. I said "push", but I did not mean to imply an armful of nose down; just a slight nose-down correction - the barest of nudges.
Given that the Airbus FBW progressively forces you to hold back on the stick - nose up command - as you enter the flare; yes, technically you would release a tiny amount of back pressure, rather than actually push.
Approaching 20', arrest the rate of descent to leave a very small rate of descent to fly onto the runway. If you arrest the descent completely, and would otherwise float along at 5', (what the OP is probably doing), move the stick SLIGHTLY forwards to allow a small rate of descent until gently contacting the runway.
