Poor guy was really not prepared for that. I cannot recall if we were ex-MUC or LHR. Either way, he was learning some lessons! I would have every confidence that this has changed.
In those times if the meat was cut up, LH would consider it vegetarian. I had a vegetarian colleague on a flight back from Germany and all they could offer, once he said he didn’t think “mit speck” made it vegetarian was offered a bread roll.
