For the lowest in the foodchain dosen't always mean the lowest in status:
'Every man an Emperor' - Field Marshall Montgomery extolling the virtues of airborne troops in WW2. The lowly grunt, often maligned but surely the best and most effective 'pointy bit' in our armoury?
