Once upon a time...

And I was getting dizzy with the cognitive dissonance of some clown ever so wanting a peace prize puking up the comments -

"a whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again. I don't want that to happen, but it probably will"

Gandhi would be jolly well impressed by that.

Israels actions in Lebanon are now described by the agent of O, as being involved in "a skirmish". We were supposed to have evolved, at least after Nuremberg, when the countries that ran the trials on aggressive war, and crimes against humanity were supposed to be ushering a new enlightened way of meting out victors justice. Apparently the memo had an expiry date.

It is bad enough when a leader of a nation sends their own nation over the cliff due to the u-turn resulting from populism, but then assuming that they have the right to use the term "conquest" without raising eyebrows seems a little odious.

In the meantime, Russia and China appreciate the abdiction of moral and military abdication from the leader of the free world.

Thanks.
