Advice needed from UK Time builders.

Hi all, I am a Flight Instructor with a school/club in Southern California, I’m originally from the UK.

The owner of the school is looking to branch out and trying to attract time builders from the UK. For the much cheaper prices and more stable weather!

We’re thinking of doing blocks of 25/50/100 hours and we will arrange and cover local transport and accommodation. The only thing the perspective renter would need to cover is flights and food.

Mainly looking to target people who already hold PPLs so they can take advantage of the FAA “piggyback” certs and not have to worry about visas etc. We will assist with the paperwork and process.

Price point in average would be around £145 an hour. Again that includes hotel accommodation, blocks of 50/100 would be cheaper.

I know Florida has the monopoly on Euro pilots but we think California is just as good an option if not better. Just trying to get opinions on if this something people would be interested in? and also what you would want to see from a program like this?

I would appreciate any insight on this. Thanks!
