Bottom line, the days of claiming our rulebooks are identical are over, and talks on recognition have not yet amounted to anything serious.
But still, the demand that ATPL holders of either side should have to resit the entirety of their ATPL theory in order to transfer a license is frankly crazy, and purely political. One can only hope at some point people sit down and have some sensible conversations about it.
