And then, lo and behold, I see VADM Harward, former deputy CENTCOM commander, whom I knew some decades ago in another context. He gave a few short and sweet observations on the SpecOps perspective, terse and on point, and I must say he's aged far better than I have. He was a man of few words, as I remember him.
Looks like it's a case of "Meet the new boss, same as the old boss" and maybe all Mr Trump did, besides blowing up a lot of stuff, was speed up the succession somewhat since the previous boss was beginning to lose his edge/health. Maybe Junior ought to send DJT a thank you note.

Like the folks on CNN, he wondered aloud at the US Strategic objective.
What M Rubio says seems to differ from what P Hegseth says seems to differ from what D Trump says...so it's anybody's guess.
