I don’t know of any perfect airline, not even among the majors. Even
Air France, with what I consider an absolutely deplorable level of TEM, just like
KLM. For many pilots at Air France, money seems to be the only motivation, and most of them seem unable to handle even a simple failure. If I only wanted to make money, I’d stand on a street corner with girls working for me, or I’d sell weapons or illegal products. Becoming an airline pilot solely for the money is a gross mistake. I agree with the post above stating that airlines use our passion to put us into a form of slavery.
That said, isn’t it the price to pay to fly and still sleep at home every night?
I’m currently looking for information as I’m about to attend a DEC assessment. Thank you.
